my today's mcm 301 paper:
total marks=88 (out of which 56 were mcqs, 4 questions of 3 marks and 4 questions of 5 marks)
most of the mcqs were from past papers so must read them at least once before the exam.
5 Marks Questions:
1) " It's not what you say but how you say it". Elaborate the statement with reference to the use of audience centered approach in writing disappointing news letters.
2) What is the purpose of writing memo?
3) An essential to made a good speech is to first understand the nature of the audience. Do you agree? Give arguments
4) A letter requesting favor should have a positive tone, be courteous and show appreciation for the recipient granting the favor. Explain.
3 Marks Questions:
1) What factors are important to achieve balance between logical and emotional appeal.
2) What do you understand by direct request letter?
3) What is a functional resume?
4) Like the characteristics of vocal quality (pitch, volume, rate and tone) speech patterns can either contribute to or detract's from a presenter's effectiveness. Discuss.
